Ace Hardware operated in Indonesia for 29 years under a license held by the Kawan Lama Group, growing to roughly 240-248 stores, often co-located with Kawan Lama's furniture chain Informa. In 2024 Kawan Lama let the US license agreement expire, and by March 2025 all former Ace Hardware stores were rebranded under Kawan Lama's own Azko banner, ending the Ace Hardware brand's presence in Indonesia.
