Description

ADGM is an independent international financial centre established by federal decree in 2013 and made operational in October 2015 across Al Maryah and Al Reem islands. Built on English common law, it comprises three bodies — the Registration Authority, the FSRA regulator, and its own courts — and allows 100% foreign ownership of registered entities. Resident firms include Goldman Sachs, Rothschild & Co, SoftBank and numerous digital banks.
