Description
Regi Go (レジゴー) is AEON Retail's mobile self-scan, self-checkout service: shoppers scan barcodes as they shop, track a running list and total on their phone, then complete payment at a dedicated register by scanning a QR code on the terminal (cash, card or e-payment) — no checkout line required. It initially used store-provided smartphones, gained its own app in April 2022 (iOS, then Android), and was folded into AEON's main iAEON app in September 2024; by 2024 the service was live in more than 300 stores.
