Description

Alibaba Cloud entered the Middle East market in 2016 with its first Dubai data center. On October 14, 2025, at GITEX Global, it opened a second Dubai data center, expanding capacity for AI services amid surging regional demand. The expansion is part of Alibaba's plan to invest RMB 380 billion (~$53 billion) in cloud and AI infrastructure over three years, alongside new regional partnerships in finance and healthcare.
