Description

AUO (AU Optronics, 友達光電) is a Taiwanese display maker formed in 2001 through the merger of Acer Display Technology and Unipac Optoelectronics, headquartered in Hsinchu. It produces TFT-LCD, mini-LED and micro-LED panels for TVs, monitors, notebooks and automotive displays. Listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange and NYSE (as ADRs), it posts annual revenue of roughly NT$300 billion (about USD 9-10 billion).
