Description

The AWS Middle East (UAE) Region in Dubai went live on August 29, 2022, becoming Amazon's second cloud region in the Middle East after Bahrain (2019). It launched with three availability zones, letting customers host data and apps locally with low latency. AWS projects the region will add roughly $11 billion to the UAE economy over 15 years and create thousands of jobs, supporting digital transformation across government and business.
