Be (beGroup) is a Vietnamese super-app founded in 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City as a ride-hailing service competing with Grab. The company raised about $30.3 million (VND 740 billion) from VPBank Securities and in 2021 partnered with VPBank to launch the digital bank Cake — the first embedded banking offer inside a Vietnamese ride-hailing app. Beyond transport, Be has expanded into delivery and beFinancial services.
