Britannia Industries, founded in Kolkata in 1892, is one of India's oldest food companies and now a leading biscuit, bread and dairy maker with roughly 38% share of the domestic bakery market. Highly automated plants give it annual production capacity of about 433,000 tonnes, distributing to over 600,000 outlets across India and 30+ countries; revenue reached ₹18,169 crore ($2.1bn) in FY2025.
