International chassis-components supplier of dampers, brakes and suspension systems, formed in 2009 through the acquisition of Delphi's chassis division (tracing its technology heritage to Delco in the early 1900s); its China entity is BeijingWest Industries, headquartered in Beijing. Beyond its Chinese plants, BWI Group manufactures in Poland, the UK, the Czech Republic and Mexico, and has recently begun pilot production in China of its iDBC1 brake-by-wire system.
