Description

Central JD Fintech and the JD Central marketplace were joint ventures between Thailand's Central Group and China's JD.com, established in September 2017 with roughly $500 million invested across e-commerce and fintech. JD Central ceased operations in Thailand on March 3, 2023, after six years, as JD.com refocused on supply-chain and cross-border logistics rather than Southeast Asian retail JVs; the Dolfin fintech venture also wound down.
