Description

Central Retail Corporation, part of Thailand's Central Group, runs an omnichannel strategy called "CRC Retailligence" that pools customer data from stores, apps and social media to personalize offers. In December 2024 its Central Food Retail division partnered with Google Cloud to launch "Tops Chef Bot," a generative-AI shopping assistant built on Google's enterprise search technology and integrated with the Tops supermarket chain's Personal Shopper service — the first initiative of its kind in Thai supermarkets.
