Description
CGN (中广核) was founded in 1994 as China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group, renamed in 2013; headquartered in Shenzhen. It is China's largest nuclear operator, holding over 50% of the domestic market with about 28 operating reactor units totaling more than 31.7 GW as of end-2024, plus 16 units under construction. CGN also runs wind, solar and hydro assets and is regarded as the world's largest nuclear-plant construction company.
