Description

Circle K is Vietnam's largest foreign convenience-store chain, with roughly 500 locations nationwide. South Korea's GS25 (GS Retail), which entered Vietnam in 2018, had grown to more than 230 locations by 2025, including a simultaneous six-store opening in Hanoi on March 14, 2025 as it entered that market. As of 2023, revenue market share stood at 38% for Circle K and 14% for GS25; GS25's strategy leans on localising with Vietnamese cuisine alongside K-food and Korean-wave positioning.
