China Mobile IoT Company (中移物联网) is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Mobile, established in September 2012 in Chongqing with registered capital of RMB 3.5 billion — the first dedicated IoT operating entity founded by a Chinese carrier. It builds core IoT platforms and solutions spanning video IoT (VIoT), AIoT and industrial IoT (IIoT), with branch offices in Beijing, Nanjing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other cities, and employs more than 3,200 people.
