Description
COSCO Shipping was formed in February 2016 through the state-approved merger of China Ocean Shipping (COSCO) and China Shipping Group, headquartered in Shanghai. It is the world's largest port operator by container throughput (about 90 million TEU handled across 46 terminals) and one of the largest shipping groups, with a fleet of over 1,300 vessels serving more than 1,500 ports in over 160 countries.
