Description

Established in October 2004 as the personal global investment holding of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, ruler of Dubai. Chaired by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, it manages over AED 130bn in assets across ~13 countries with ~20,000 employees, spanning real estate, hospitality, media and retail. Its real-estate arm absorbed former developers Nakheel and Meydan in a March 2024 restructuring, alongside Dubai Properties and TECOM.
