Description

Founded 23 June 1997 in Dubai by Mohamed Alabbar, Emaar Properties listed on the Dubai Financial Market in 2000 and is partly government-owned via ICD. It built Burj Khalifa (828m, world's tallest building, 2010) and master-developed Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina and Dubai Mall. In 2024 Emaar reported record revenue of AED 35.5 billion ($9.6bn), up 33% year-on-year, with operations across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India, Turkey and Pakistan.
