Description
A 50-50 Sino-Japanese joint venture between GAC Group and Toyota Motor Corporation, established on September 1, 2004 in Guangzhou, with the first Camry rolling off the line in 2006. GAC Toyota builds Toyota-badged sedans and crossovers (Camry, Levin, Highlander and others) as well as bZ electric vehicles for the Chinese market; its plant complex covers over 1.8 million square meters and employs around 5,600 people.
