Description
Sinopec Guangzhou Company is Sinopec's core facility in the Pearl River Delta, Huangpu district; the refinery has run since 1956 and was later expanded for imported crude. Crude capacity is 13.2 million tonnes/year with ethylene capacity of 220,000 tonnes; the site runs 50 major units, a captive 305 MW power plant and two crude jetties at Huizhou Port. It makes fuels and polymers (PE/PP/PS) to China VI standards.
