Description
GXBank, launched publicly in November 2023 as Malaysia's first operating digital bank, is a subsidiary of GXS Bank — the Grab-Singtel digital banking venture — with Malaysian investors including Kuok Group. It hit 100,000 customers in two weeks, crossed 500,000 by June 2024 and passed 750,000 within a year, with over 13 million transactions. GXBank is a regional Centre of Excellence for shared services, backing an RM1.5 billion investment plan.
