Description
The Haidian City Brain is a big-data smart-city platform for Haidian District in Beijing, home to Zhongguancun and the capital's leading universities. Its core "spatiotemporal map" module went live in December 2020, followed by an Intelligent Operations Command Center (IOCC) in early 2021. According to district government disclosures, the system aggregates data from over 200,000 sensors, covers more than 170,000 buildings (about 190 million square meters), and runs on roughly 20 quadrillion operations per second of computing power.
