Founded in 1994 in Sichuan, Haidilao is China's best-known hotpot chain, celebrated for its attentive, almost theatrical customer service. It operates over 1,300 restaurants in China plus an international arm, Super Hi International, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2018. Since 2024 it has begun opening restaurants via franchise for the first time.
