Chinese tea beverage chain founded in 2012 (originally as "Royal Tea" in Jiangmen, renamed HeyTea/喜茶 in 2016), headquartered in Nanshan District, Shenzhen. It pioneered the "new tea" category — drinks combining tea, fresh milk, and fruit — and operates several thousand stores across China. In 2021 it engaged UBS for a potential Hong Kong IPO targeting around $500 million.
