Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology, founded in 2001 and partly state-owned through China Electronics Technology Group, is the world's largest maker of video-surveillance equipment, covering CCTV cameras, NVRs, AIoT platforms and machine-vision systems. Listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, it generates annual revenue near 90 billion yuan, but has faced US Entity List sanctions and export restrictions since 2019 over human-rights concerns in Xinjiang.
