Description
IRICO Group is a Chinese electronics maker founded in 1978 in Xianyang, Shaanxi province (near Xi'an), originally producing cathode ray tubes. A 2007-2008 restructuring shifted it to LCD glass substrates and display components, fully exiting CRT by 2012. Its listed unit, IRICO Group Electronics, has traded on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (0438.HK) since December 2004. The group has since expanded into solar photovoltaic glass production.
