Description
JAKA Robotics was founded in 2014 in Shanghai by a group of engineers and robotics scholars, with a production base in Changzhou. It makes the Zu series of collaborative robots (launched 2017), plus the MiniCobo and C5. It closed industry-record rounds: a $50M Series C/C+ (2021) and a $150M Series D (2022) backed by Temasek, SoftBank Vision Fund 2 and Prosperity7 Ventures. In 2023 it filed for a RMB 750M IPO on Shanghai's STAR Market.
