Description
Asia No.1 is JD.com's (JD Logistics) flagship network of highly automated mega fulfillment centers, the first of which opened in Shanghai in 2014. The facilities rely on sorting robots, AGVs and automated storage/retrieval systems to process orders with minimal manual handling, and have since been rolled out across dozens of Chinese cities including Shanghai, Wuhan and Kunshan as JD's showcase for smart-warehouse technology.
