JD Logistics began in 2007 as JD.com's in-house delivery arm and was spun off as an independent company in 2017, headquartered in Beijing. It listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in May 2021 (ticker 2618.HK), raising about $3.4 billion. The company operates a network of over 800 proprietary warehouses plus more than 1,400 third-party cloud warehouses, and reported revenue of RMB 166.6 billion in 2023.
