Kingenta Ecological Engineering (金正大) was founded in 1998 in Linshu County, Linyi, Shandong, specializing in compound, slow- and controlled-release, and water-soluble fertilizers. It is the world's largest controlled-release fertilizer production base, employing over 8,000 people with about 6 million tonnes of annual capacity. Kingenta listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2010 (ticker 002470), with revenue reaching 13 billion yuan in 2014.
