Description
KOSÉ was founded in Tokyo in March 1946 by Kozaburo Kobayashi, built from the start on a "quality first" approach to face powders and skincare. From 1963 to 2001 the company had a technology partnership with L'Oréal, and in 1970 it launched its luxury brand COSME DECORTÉ. In 2022 KOSÉ introduced The Color Machine, a 3D-projection makeup simulator, and the company also researches AI applications — including combining AI with quantum computing — to rapidly test and formulate ingredient combinations.
