LG Display is a South Korean display maker spun off from LG Electronics in 1999 as LG.Philips LCD, a joint venture with Philips, renamed LG Display in 2008. Headquartered in Seoul, it is a global leader in OLED panels for smartphones, TVs, laptops and cars alongside LCD. Listed on the Korea Exchange and NYSE (ADR), it reported revenue of about KRW 21 trillion (roughly USD 16 billion) in 2023 with 27,000+ employees.
