Lingong Group / SDLG (临工集团) was founded in 1972 in Linyi, Shandong. In 2006 Volvo CE acquired a 70% stake, forming the SDLG joint venture, which brought technology transfer and international expansion, including a Brazil plant opened in 2013. In 2025, after 19 years of partnership, Volvo CE sold its stake to a fund controlled by Lingong Group. The company makes wheel loaders, excavators and backhoe loaders under the SDLG and Lingong brands.
