Luckin Coffee, China's largest coffee chain with over 20,000 stores and a fully app-driven, largely takeaway model, entered Malaysia on 23 January 2025 with two Kuala Lumpur outlets (Sunway Pyramid, Menara EcoWorld) via a partnership with Hextar Industries Bhd. It plans roughly 200 stores by 2028; Malaysia is Luckin's second overseas market after Singapore (2023), reaching 45 jointly-operated stores by February 2026.
