Description
Megmilk Snow Brand was formed in 2009 through the merger of Snow Brand Milk Products and Nippon Milk Community, but its roots go back to 1925 and the Hokkaido Cooperative Creamery Association, founded to support the island's dairy farming. A cheese plant built in Toasa, Hokkaido, in 1933 launched Japan's cheese production in 1934, which sold out almost immediately. Today the company is one of Japan's largest dairy makers.
