Description

Founded in 2007 as a Dubai government-backed developer focused on lifestyle placemaking rather than volume housing. Its portfolio includes City Walk, La Mer beachfront district, Bluewaters Island (home to Ain Dubai), Box Park and Jumeirah Central. In 2023, by directive of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Meraas was formally merged into Dubai Holding, becoming part of its real-estate division rather than continuing as an independent brand.
