M.O.I Cosmetics was founded in 2018 by singer Ho Ngoc Ha together with CEO Lam Thanh Kim as Vietnam's first professional local makeup brand, positioned for the needs of Vietnamese and Southeast Asian women. Its products are manufactured under licence in South Korea. In 2019 its first international investor, CMG.ASIA, helped drive nearly 300% revenue growth that year and build a nationwide network of 1,000 distributors; in 2023 the brand won Best Local Makeup Brand of the Year at the L'Officiel Beauty Awards.
