Mobile World Investment Corporation (MWG), headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, was founded in 2004 by Nguyen Duc Tai and runs the Thế Giới Di Động, Điện Máy Xanh, Bách Hóa Xanh, An Khang pharmacy, TopZone and AVAKids chains. As of Q3 2025 the company operated over 5,200 stores across all 63 of Vietnam's provinces and cities. In May 2025 MWG launched its own marketplace, MWG Shop, re-entering e-commerce, with a 2025 revenue target of VND 150 trillion under its omnichannel strategy.
