Malaysian academic and clinical research hub for stem cell and tissue engineering science, associated with Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). UKM's Centre for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine (CTERM), founded by Prof. Ruszymah Idrus, and UKM's Cell Therapy Centre (established 2006) develop cell-based therapies — including cartilage, skin and bone regeneration — for patients with degenerative and blood disorders.
