Description
Nestlé has been present in India since 1912, opening its first factory in Moga, Punjab, in 1961. Nestlé India's headquarters is in Gurugram, and nearby in Manesar it opened an R&D Centre in 2012 — a CHF 50 million global innovation hub for noodles and spices. Nestlé India now operates seven factories across the country. Its Maggi noodle brand, launched in 1983, grew into one of India's leading packaged-food categories.
