Description

Orbbec (奥比中光) is a Shenzhen-based Chinese company, founded in 2013, that designs and manufactures 3D vision cameras (structured light, ToF, stereo vision) and LiDAR solutions for robotics, logistics, healthcare, and retail. In 2015 it achieved mass production of consumer-grade 3D sensors with fully independent IP, breaking a market previously dominated by three foreign vendors. The company is publicly traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE: 688322) and also has operations in Troy, Michigan.
