Description

Pinduoduo (拼多多) is a Chinese e-commerce platform founded in 2015 by Colin Huang (Huang Zheng), known for its group-buying model where users team up with friends via social networks like WeChat to unlock discounts. Its parent company, PDD Holdings, also owns Temu, a cross-border shopping platform launched in 2022, and PDD Holdings trades on Nasdaq. Pinduoduo has grown into one of China's largest e-commerce platforms by active buyers, competing directly with Alibaba and JD.com.
