Description
PNDbotics (柏奥尼克机器人), based in Ningbo, was founded in September 2023 by CEO Yan Xunge and CTO Cui Haotian, whose team has worked on bionic robotics since 2011. Its flagship Adam is a full-size humanoid — 167cm tall, 60–62kg, up to 41 degrees of freedom, 340N·m peak joint torque, and a biomimetic hip design based on human pelvic biomechanics; it learns locomotion via reinforcement learning rather than rigid modeling. Manufacturing hubs in Ningbo and Tianjin produce hundreds of units yearly, with exports to Europe, the US, Japan and South Korea; Adam also serves as the reference hardware for US firm Skild AI's model training.
