Founded in 2018 in Bandung by AI and speech-recognition experts Dessi Puji Lestari and Dr. Ayu Purwarianti together with Teguh Eko Budiarto, Prosa.ai builds NLP and speech technologies specifically for Bahasa Indonesia — chatbots, text and speech processing, and voice-biometric authentication. It partnered with Indonesia's communications ministry to launch the AntiHoaks chatbot to counter misinformation.
