Description
Shell Middle East is the regional arm of the British-Dutch major Shell, present in the UAE since 1939 (in Dubai since 1959). It employs roughly 500 people locally across upstream, midstream, downstream and trading. Shell holds a stake in the ADNOC Gas Processing joint venture, which handles and supplies up to 70% of Abu Dhabi's gas, supplies 1-2 million tonnes of LNG to Dubai annually, and fuels around 100 flights a day at regional airports.
