The Shenzhen Stock Exchange (深圳证券交易所), founded 1 December 1990, is one of mainland China's two main securities exchanges, running a Main Board alongside ChiNext — its Nasdaq-style board for growth tech startups launched in 2009. As of 2026 it lists roughly 2,900 companies with combined market capitalization exceeding RMB43 trillion (over $6.3 trillion), ranking among the world's largest exchanges and a key venue for China's tech companies.
