Description
Sinopec Zhongke is a new-generation integrated refining-petrochemical complex on Donghai Island in Zhanjiang, Guangdong, covering about 6 km2. A 50:50 joint venture of Sinopec and Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, investment roughly $9 billion. It processes 10 million tonnes of crude and 800,000 tonnes of ethylene annually. The complex includes China's largest petrochemical port, with eight terminals and 34 million tonnes/year throughput.
