Description
SoftBank Robotics, a SoftBank Group unit previously known for the Pepper humanoid (production discontinued in 2021), partnered with US startup Bear Robotics — in which SoftBank invested $32M in its Series A — to launch the Servi restaurant service robot in 2020, which handles food delivery, bussing and dining-room patrol. In Japan it was first rolled out at Denny's Japan locations, reaching over 200 restaurants.
