Thai Union Group, founded in 1977 in Thailand, is the world's largest processor of canned and pouched tuna, owning global brands including Chicken of the Sea (acquired 2000) and John West, with 2024 revenue around USD 3.9 billion across seafood, ambient foods and pet food from over 40 facilities worldwide. In 2022 it launched OMG Meat, a plant-based product line for the Thai market, extending into alternative-protein innovation.
