Description
The Technology Innovation Institute (TII) is the applied-research arm of Abu Dhabi's Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC). In March 2023 it launched Falcon LLM, a 40B-parameter model trained on 1 trillion tokens that beat GPT-3 using far less compute. It later released the compact Falcon 3 series, efficient enough for laptops, and Falcon H1 Arabic. TII also researches quantum tech, robotics and biotech.
