Description
Tiki is a Vietnamese e-commerce platform founded in 2010 by Tran Ngoc Thai Son as an online bookstore in Ho Chi Minh City, later growing into a full marketplace with its own NOW/TikiNOW logistics arm. It raised $258 million in a 2021 Series E round (AIA, UBS, Mirae Asset), nearing a $1 billion valuation. By 2024–2025 it lost significant ground to Shopee and TikTok Shop, with market share sliding to roughly 0.9% and Q1 2025 GMV plunging 57% YoY.
